ROLE PROFILE: LOGISTICS & ADMINISTRATION CLERK

This role is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to Moffats Logistics. This includes processing paperwork, tracking tonnages moved and maintaining all relevant records. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of tonnages.

· Processing Supplier/Sub-contractor invoices on daily basis and reconcile weekly against tonnages

· Reconciling Monthly fleet statements and Fuel account

· Sorting tonnages according to different suppliers/sub-contractors

· Capturing sub-contractor’s reconciliations

· Balancing the tonnages

· Data entries of coal received and dispatched to different sites

· Review supplier invoices for accuracy and approved pricing/rates

· Invoicing and validation of invoices

· Capture invoices on Sage Accounting

· Reconcile monthly supplier statements

· Track and resolve problems and discrepancies

· Reconciliations required on Both Debtors and creditors
Liaise with suppliers and sub-contractors

· Recording and Analysing data

· Record and maintain supplier & sub-contractor records and other documents

· Provide clerical support

· Filing

· Retrieve reports for CEO and Department Head

Compiling driver’s hours and routes

· Obtaining quotations when required

HR administration

Capturing of drivers and workshop time sheets

Compiling salaries Schedule when required

Recording and managing diesel consumption as directed

Daily Reconciliations

All administration duties

Planning

Answering telephone calls

Welcoming of guests as required

Desired Experience & Qualification

Grade 12

Minimum of five years relevant experience

Relevant Post Matric Qualifications will be an added advantage

Skills:

· Excellent administration skills

· Excellent people skills

· Computer literate: Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, Excel, Works, Outlook

· Experience and Proficient in using SAGE Accounting online/Sage300

· Adaptable

· Hard worker and solid work ethic

· Strong organisational skills

· Ability to plan and complete tasks

· Administration and proper filing skills/Record keeping

· Numerical and analytical skills

· Articulate with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels is essential

Abilities:

Able to work independently as well as in a team

Able and prepared to work weekends and standby when required

You may be required to perform other or general work due to operational requirements, for which you are either qualified and/or capable of doing so, or any duties that may be reasonably expected of you

Must be willing to work alternate weekends and when needed

Must be willing to relocate to Witbank – Mpumalanga

Must have a smart phone with Whatsapp

Package & Remuneration

NEG, DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

Pay: R8 000,00 – R12 000,00 per month
