What’s the Role?
As the Lodge Manager, you’ll be responsible for the smooth running of this extraordinary hunting game lodge. From overseeing daily operations and guest services to managing staff and promoting sustainable practices, you’ll ensure that everything runs like a well-oiled machine. You’ll be the go-to leader ensuring guests have an unforgettable experience while keeping conservation efforts front and centre.
Your
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all daily operations – accommodations, dining, recreational activities, and guest services
Lead, train, and manage a dedicated team of lodge staff
Ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction and resolve any concerns
Handle financials – from budgeting to revenue generation
Foster wildlife conservation efforts and promote sustainable practices
Collaborate with wildlife experts and hunting managers to ensure ethical hunting practices
Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and local communities
Implement and enforce health & safety standards
Work with marketing teams to promote the lodge and attract guests
Report on lodge performance, guest feedback, and conservation initiatives
Who Are We Looking For?
A Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business admin, or a related field (preferred)
Proven experience in lodge management, ideally in a hunting game lodge or similar
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
A passion for wildlife conservation and sustainable tourism
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Knowledge of wildlife management and hunting regulations
Experience with reservation management systems
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and sometimes high-pressure environment
First Aid and/or wilderness safety certifications (a plus)
Proficiency in English (additional foreign languages are a bonus)
