Pay: $1.31 per ton, $0.46 per mile
Hours: 1st shift: 4am-4pm; 2nd shift: 5pm-5am
Days: Monday-Friday
Job Description
This position is responsible for operating machinery and maintaining production flow while ensuring safety and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Maintain a driving log and conduct pre-trip inspections
Report accidents or incidents involving company equipment
Perform minor vehicle maintenance and repairs
Climb in/out of trucks safely and perform physical tasks as needed
Lift up to 50 pounds
Follow DOT rules, Tyson policies, and safety guidelines
Work in various weather conditions
Job Requirements
Active Class A CDL
At least 21 years old
Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer driving experience
Ten years of work history
Ability to obtain a DOT medical card
No recent DUI/DWI convictions
Pass driving and drug tests
Meet Tyson Driver Evaluation System standards
No ownership or possession of exotic or wild fowl
