SAGE Dining Services® is seeking a full-time Line Server to join an experienced culinary team at a boarding school in Oakdale, CT. A line server job involves serving food and beverages, maintaining a clean and organized serving area, and providing friendly customer service. Key responsibilities include preparing food stations, replenishing supplies, ensuring food safety and sanitation, and helping customers with their orders.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 12PM-8PM
Pay Type: $18.00 -$20.00 Hourly

What you’ll do:
- Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing.
- Interact cheerfully with SAGE guests and Team Members and provide service with a smile.
- Prepare assigned menu items in strict accordance with SAGE recipes.
- Clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guests enjoy amazing dining experiences.
- Clean all work areas and customer service areas on an ongoing basis.
- Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques always (HACCP).
- Assist in training new culinary Team Members.
- Endure exposure to extreme temperatures; intense heat and freezing cold.
- Adapt to additional duties as assigned by management.
What you’ll need:
- Experience as a Prep Cook or Cook preferred, but not required.
- Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in detail.
- Ability to properly set up a buffet or serving station.
- Experience in customer service strongly preferred, but not required.
- Food safety certifications as required by jurisdiction.
