- Assess life and disability applications across standard & substandard risks
- Make confident, evidence-based underwriting decisions
- Collaborate with reinsurers on complex cases
- Provide clear, trusted guidance to stakeholders
✅ What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years in Individual Life Underwriting
- Strong medical underwriting expertise (incl. impairments & substandard risks)
- Understanding of financial underwriting principles
- Experience with complex cases / reinsurance
- Relevant qualification (Insurance / Medical / related field)
- FAIS Fit & Proper (RE5 advantageous)
- Commitment to continuous learning and growth
