Responsibilities
Administrative Support: Organize and maintain legal files, correspondence, and records. Compile, update, and manage client case information in a timely and confidential manner. Assist attorneys in drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents (e.g., contracts, letters, pleadings). Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings and deadlines
Document Management: Draft and prepare legal documents and reports for attorney review. Ensure timely filing and organization of documents, both physically and digitally. Maintain internal systems to ensure all case files and communication logs are up to date.
Client Interaction: Communicate professionally with clients to gather case details or provide updates. Ensure a high level of confidentiality and discretion in handling client information. Support attorney-client communications and ensure follow-ups are completed.
Case Preparation: Help prepare case files for hearings, meetings, and deadlines. Assist in collecting supporting documentation and exhibits. Coordinate with internal departments or external agencies as needed

Required Experience & Skills
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Administrative Professional.
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Familiarity with legal terminology and document formatting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal management software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, or similar).
Discretion in handling sensitive information.
What Does a Typical Day Look Like?
You’ll start your day reviewing priorities with attorneys and organizing files needed for meetings or casework. Throughout the day, you’ll draft correspondence, format legal documents, and respond to client emails or phone calls. You might assist with scheduling depositions, updating client information, or preparing case summaries. Your role is critical in keeping the legal team organized and efficient.
