Our client is a Corporate Advisory Firm and is currently looking for an exceptional Associate to boost their Sponsor Services business which provides regulatory advisory services to JSE-Listed entities in South Africa around listing requirements on both a transactional and recurring JSE obligations basis. The position is based in Sandton.
Qualifications & Minimum Requirements
Admitted Attorney
Strong academic record.
Strong financial acumen.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong contracts drafting skills.
High attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
A high level of professional ethics.
Key Responsibilities
Understanding of the JSE Listing and Compliance Requirements.
JSE Listings and Debt Listings Requirements.
Ensuring all JSE related documents are accurate, complete and in compliance with the JSE Requirements.
Managing the submission of all clients related documents to the JSE.
Drafting and releasing of JSE related announcements.
Liaising with the JSE and other regulators as required.
Managing ongoing client liaison.
Regulations and statutes.
Corporate governance.
Transaction structuring and execution.
Large corporate actions – applicable requirements and regulations.
Salary is market related in line with large law firms and based on experience.
