(CHE).The IIE Varsity College Sandton Campus is seeking appointees in the field of Commerce to strengthen the teaching and research capabilities in the Faculty of Management Studies department for the following lecturing role:
Transport Economics
Job Purpose:
The primary
purpose
of this position is the delivery of effective facilitation/lecturing on qualifications and all associated academic activities such as student engagement and support that will promote student success and learning.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Ideal:
Honours in Supply chain/logistics management;
Business Management with a special focus in the following:
Logistics;
Operations and Production Management; warehousing;
Integrated Logistics and Transport Management.
Alternatively:
Honours in one of the Supply chain/logistics management-related fields (e.g. purchasing, operations/ production, inventory; sustainable management, warehousing) with supply chain management and Logistics to the third-year level in the undergraduate qualification;
A Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Business Administration with Supply chain/logistics management or a similarly related field (e.g. purchasing, operations/ production, inventory; sustainable management) to the third-year level PLUS either an MBA/M.Com/MPhil or a postgraduate diploma in supply chain management or Logistics.
Minimum Work Experience Requirements:
Industry experience in commerce.
Lecturing experience in supply chain, logistics management and operations, production management/transportation, and warehousing management.
Work experience as a Supply Chain Manager or Consultant.
Experience in Logistics, Warehousing, Purchasing, Production, and Operations or Inventory.
