Lecturer – Accounting, Finance & Financial Management Jobs in Centurion, South Africa at STADIO Higher Education
This is a full-time, fixed-term position until 31 December 2026. The successful candidate will be required to perform all duties associated with a full-time academic appointment and will be expected to work on campus at the Centurion Campus during normal working hours, in accordance with the institution’s operational requirements.
Purpose
To deliver high-quality teaching, learning, assessment, and academic support in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, and related Commerce subjects through a blended contact learning approach, while contributing to curriculum development, research, student success, and the broader academic objectives of the institution.
Key Responsibilities
Lecture relevant subjects in Commerce (Accounting, Finance, Financial Management)
Teaching and Learning
- Teaching (Blended Contact Approach) and assessment (Marking and Moderation)
- Quality Assurance
- Student Support and Success
- Curriculum development, review and transformation
Research
- Accredited publications
- Thought leadership
- Research for teaching and learning (including digital marketing, marketing and consumer behaviour)
Academic Citizenship
- Institutional involvement

Self-Development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to lecture effectively in a blended contact and online learning environment.
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Microsoft Teams.

- High levels of professionalism, initiative, resilience, and adaptability.
Qualifications & Experience
- NQF Level 8 qualification, preferably specialising in Accounting, Financial Management, Finance, or a related Commerce discipline.
- Experience lecturing in a blended contact and online higher education environment.
- Experience using electronic Learning Management Systems (LMS) and video conferencing platforms such as Microsoft Teams.
- Relevant industry experience in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, or related fields.
- Membership of a recognised professional or industry body and/or a relevant professional designation will be advantageous.
