Leasing Manager | Retail Property – JHB South
We’re seeking a commercially driven Leasing Manager to oversee leasing performance across a retail property portfolio. You’ll manage the full leasing lifecycle — from tenant sourcing and negotiations to contract administration, FICA compliance, and retention.
Key Focus Areas
- Lease negotiations (new deals, renewals, amendments)
- Tenant retention and vacancy management
- Lease administration on MDA (MRI)
- FICA compliance and documentation
- Contract management and lease tracking
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Property, Commerce or Law
- Minimum 5 years’ retail leasing experience (non-negotiable)
- Strong track record in negotiations and tenant management
- Hands-on MDA (MRI) experience
- Solid understanding of FICA compliance
- Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of retail trading dynamics and rentals
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills
