Key Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

Programme manage strategic training programs for our merchandise teams, including the graduate program, ensuring the merchants are equipped with the skills and knowledge to excel in their future careers within TFG.

Lead the integration of new training initiatives into our company culture, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Work closely with the Fuse and Retail Brands to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for the new Retail Graduates on the initiation of the program.

Provide continuous mentorship and support to Merchandise Graduates, addressing challenges and facilitating their professional development.

Collaborate with various departments to ensure comprehensive training and the necessary resources are provided to the merchandise teams.

Monitor and assess the progress of training programs, offering constructive feedback and guidance to enhance performance and improvements in the content and the curriculum.

Organise regular check-ins and progress reviews with Merchandise Graduates and their line managers and coaches to ensure alignment with training goals.

Ensure training programs align with the company’s strategic objectives and contribute to overall business success.

Qualifications And Experience

A relevant tertiary qualification.

5 – 7 years’ experience in coaching and mentoring merchandise planning or buying teams

In-depth understanding of Merchandise Retail (Buying and/or Planning).
