PURPOSE OF THE JOB

We are seeking an innovative and dynamic Learning & Talent Development Practitioner to join our team. This role is responsible for designing, delivering, and maintaining impactful learning and development interventions aligned with the company’s strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will create engaging learning experiences using blended learning approaches and play a key role in leadership development, onboarding, gamified learning, and content accreditation across Pepkor and its subsidiaries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and deliver training content aligned with the competency framework to support employee development at all levels.

Facilitate leadership, soft skills, and onboarding programmes.

Source and manage external speakers for senior leadership programmes.

Apply gamification and learning methodologies to enhance learner engagement.

Drive content design and delivery across blended learning environments (both virtual and in-person).

Develop learning content for accreditation purposes.

Deliver and maintain onboarding programmes.

Support the HR Executive with special projects.

Assist in the design of curricula, brochures, and programme offerings.

JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

A diploma or degree in Business Administration, Education or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating learning programmes.

Relevant certifications in Facilitation and Instructional Design would be advantageous.

Proficiency with Google Workspace and digital tools for virtual facilitation and online learning.

Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) to deliver and track learning interventions.

Skilled in creating engaging learning content across various formats.

Willingness to travel as required to facilitate learning interventions
