Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Leaky Feeder & Communications Systems Technician, located in Rustenburg Area.
The technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of leaky feeder communication systems, from base/headend and underground comms.
Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting technical issues, providing technical support, conducting preventive maintenance, and installations of forward moves.
Attend to breakdowns.
The responsibility requires a hands-on approach and a keen eye for detail to ensure smooth operation of balanced leaky feeder communication systems.
Ability to do on-site mapping and system layout with full feedback.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum of N4 light current electronics
Skills in Troubleshooting and Technical Support
Proficiency in Maintenance & Repair and Preventive Maintenance
Strong technical and analytical skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and in a team
Experience with leaky feeder systems is compulsory
Relevant certifications and technical qualifications
Two-way radio systems programming experience is compulsory
Physical and mentally healthy
No criminal record
Medically fit

Valid driver’s license
SA citizen
