Lead Sign Installer Jobs in Orange, CA at JB3D
JB3D is looking for an experienced and dependable Lead Sign Installer to join our team. This position leads field installations, directs installation crews, and ensures projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to JB3D’s quality standards.
We’re looking for someone with strong sign installation experience who can take ownership of a job, lead by example, troubleshoot challenges, and deliver quality finished work.
Responsibilities
- Lead installations of interior and exterior signage and graphics.
- Direct and train Junior Installers and other crew members.
- Review drawings, measurements, work orders, and site conditions before installation.
- Ensure the crew has the correct tools, hardware, equipment, and materials for each job.
- Safely operate hand/power tools, ladders, aerial lifts, and installation equipment.
- Troubleshoot job-site challenges and communicate issues to the appropriate team members.
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and professional job site.
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, project managers, and other trades.
- Perform final quality checks and complete required installation documentation/photos.
- Take responsibility for company vehicles, tools, equipment, and materials assigned to the crew.
Qualifications
- Professional sign installation experience required.
- Crew leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of sign installation methods, tools, hardware, and job-site safety.
- Ability to read drawings, plans, measurements, and project specifications.
- Comfortable working on ladders, aerial lifts, and at heights.
- Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to safely lift and handle materials associated with sign installation.
