Bell Brothers is looking for an experienced Lead Excavator to join our residential plumbing team. If you have strong heavy equipment experience, residential sewer/water line knowledge, and leadership skills, this is an opportunity to build a long-term career with an established Central Iowa company.

What You’ll Do
- Lead residential sewer and water excavation projects
- Operate excavators, skid steers, and other heavy equipment
- Repair and replace sewer and water lines
- Perform trenching, digging, grading, and backfilling
- Lead crew members and maintain a safe jobsite
- Communicate with customers, inspectors, and office staff
- Complete site restoration and job documentation
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of excavation equipment experience
- Residential plumbing, sewer, or water-line experience preferred
- Strong heavy equipment operating skills
- Ability to lead excavation projects and crews
- Knowledge of residential sewer and water systems
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred
- Reliable, safety-minded, and customer-focused
