A Financial Services corporation that provides wealth management, asset management, and insurance solutions for individuals, families, and businesses, is seeking a Lead Business Analyst (IT) on a Permanent basis in Bellville, Cape Town.
Applicants should be South African Citizens
Applicants should already be living in Cape Town, and have the ability to work in Bellville
Applicants should be comfortable with an in-office and Hybrid environment (+- 3 days in office per week)
The successful candidate will be function as the link between business objectives and technology development capabilities. The candidate will primarily be involved in the analysis of functionality for the CRM platform used by the company’s Advisers nationally.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and validate development requirements received from stakeholders before submitting for development.
Closely working with business (pre-development) and testing (post-development) to ensure requirements are delivered in an expected format.
The candidate will frequently function as the representative of the team in sessions with business.
Documentation of platform functionality in consistent sustainable format.
Assist testers with UAT test packs
Implement processes for gathering, reviewing and analysing development requirements.
Create conceptual prototypes and mock-ups where applicable.
Leading and Mentoring of junior team members
Minimum Requirements:
Completed BCOM Degree
Minimum of 5 years’ Business Analysis experience in the financial services industry (preferable Short-term insurance)
Minimum of 2 years Team Leadership experience
Experience in analysing CRM solutions
Agile & Scrum Certification and/or experience
Expert understanding of the software development process
