We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Layout Artist to join our dynamic team in Jet Park, Johannesburg. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the team to design and execute layouts for print and large-format projects.
Oversee the end-to-end production process, ensuring quality and adherence to brand standards.
Prepare files for print production, including colour corrections and final proofing.
Work on multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.
Troubleshoot design and technical issues related to print production.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the design and printing industry.
Assist the marketing department with ad hoc design tasks as needed.
Key Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in a similar role, preferably in a printing environment.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Strong understanding of digital and large-format printing processes.
Hands-on experience in a printing environment, including large-format printing.
Familiarity with pre-press and print production workflows.
Attention to Detail:
Meticulous approach to quality and accuracy.
Time Management:
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines effectively.
Work Ethic:
Positive attitude, energetic, and diligent with a proactive mindset.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to hit the ground running and resolve challenges effectively.
