Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and health of residential and commercial landscapes through expert lawn care, landscaping, and grounds maintenance. Your enthusiasm for outdoor work, combined with your technical skills and safety awareness, will ensure our clients’ properties are pristine, vibrant, and well-kept. Responsibilities
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools to perform mowing, edging, trimming, and pruning tasks.
- Maintain landscape features by planting, watering, fertilizing, mulching, and identifying plants to ensure healthy growth.
- Manage irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and adjusting schedules to optimize water use.
- Perform hardscape maintenance such as cleaning pathways, repairing small structures, and ensuring outdoor features are in excellent condition.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously during all tasks to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or leaf removal to keep properties accessible and attractive year-round.
- Identify pests or plant diseases early on and implement appropriate pesticide management or horticultural practices.
Requirements
- Prior outdoor work experience or background in grounds maintenance or landscaping is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and grounds maintenance machinery.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, pruning, planting, and hardscape upkeep.
- Ability to identify various plants and understand basic horticulture principles.
- Experience with irrigation systems operation and troubleshooting is a plus.
- Strong adherence to safety protocols combined with a proactive approach to hazard prevention.
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy equipment or materials as needed.
- Excellent attention to detail with a passion for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces.

Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour
