Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00 (Mon-Fri) + Overtime & Saturdays as needed

Job Description
We are a small, owner-operated company specializing in branding of promotional and industrial products. We seek a versatile, detail-oriented professional to join our tight-knit team. The ideal candidate will blend design expertise with hands-on production skills, ensuring high-quality output while collaborating closely with staff and clients.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Graphic Design & Preparation
Create and edit designs using CorelDRAW (advanced skills required).
Prepare files for laser cutting/engraving (experience essential).
Ensure print-ready artwork meets technical specifications.
✔ Laser Machine Operation
Operate and maintain laser cutting/engraving equipment.
Troubleshoot minor technical issues.
Monitor material quality and machine settings.
✔ Client & Team Collaboration
Liaise with clients (email/phone/in-person) to clarify briefs and provide updates.
Work cooperatively with existing staff in a small-team environment.
Assist with admin tasks (emails, quotes, basic Excel/Word docs).
✔ Flexibility & Work Ethic
Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays (compensated).
Adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced workshop.
Requirements
✅ Non-Negotiable Skills:
Advanced CorelDRAW proficiency (test will be administered).
Laser cutting/engraving experience (submit portfolio/examples).
Fluent in MS Outlook (email management), Excel & Word basics.
✅ Preferred Experience:
Prior client-facing roles (retail, sales, or service industries).
Familiarity with other design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator).
✅ Practical Must-Haves:
Own transportor reliable public transport (location: Maitland, Cape Town, South Africa).
Contactable references (recent employers/supervisors).
