Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscaper to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing beautiful outdoor spaces by applying your expertise in landscape care, groundskeeping, and equipment operation. Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and mulching to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, power tools, excavators, irrigation systems, and hardscape machinery with precision and safety awareness
- Identify plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure proper care and pest management practices are followed
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to promote healthy growth and water efficiency across landscapes
- Conduct tree trimming, pruning, and health assessments to support tree care initiatives
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers responsibly following safety protocols to protect plants and the environment
- Execute hardscape projects including the installation of pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures with attention to detail
Requirements
- Proven outdoor work experience with a strong understanding of landscaping principles and grounds maintenance techniques
- Mechanical knowledge related to landscape equipment operation including power tools, lawn care machinery, excavators, and irrigation systems
- Ability to identify various plants, trees, pests, and diseases relevant to horticulture practices
- Familiarity with pesticide management procedures adhering strictly to safety protocols
- Experience operating groundskeeping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, snow plows (seasonal), and other landscaping tools
- Knowledge of safety standards related to outdoor work environments and construction sites
- Strong physical stamina for lifting heavy materials, digging, climbing ladders or trees, and working in various weather conditions
