Responsibilities:

Establishes, develops and maintains relationships with existing and prospective customers.

Identifies sales opportunities.

Negotiates and closes sales deals.

Makes telephone calls and conducts in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.

Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics, and technical service groups.

Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.

Ensures customer and stakeholder satisfaction.

Answers technical questions from potential and existing customers.

Attends trade shows and conferences and provides feedback on new products, pricing, and market conditions.

Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.

Administration:

Prepares and presents bids and quotations that meet specific customer expectations and project requirements.

Maintains a database of information for sales prospects and existing customers.

Keeps accurate records of all invoiced sales and commission.

Collects information about the customer to assist in the development of marketing plans and sales strategies.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Relevant sales experience in the Mpumalanga area (Secunda).

Matric Certificate.

Diploma in marketing/sales.

Diploma/trades test in electronics with 3-5 years experience in electronic sales, preferably in the mining industry.
