Kitchen Prep Cook – Salads & Prepared Foods
Location: Woodstock, Vermont
Job Type: Full-time, year-round
Pay: $17–$21 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Morning and evening shifts available; one weekend day required

We’re looking for a dependable, positive person to help prepare our popular salads, entrées, sauces, dips and other fresh foods. Previous kitchen experience is helpful, but it isn’t required—we’re happy to train someone who is reliable, eager to learn and takes pride in doing good work.
What You’ll Do
Prepare fresh salads, entrées, sauces and dips using established recipes
Assist with catering and holiday food preparation
Stock and maintain our prepared-food cases
Help at the sandwich station when needed
Receive deliveries and put products away
Keep work areas clean, organized and properly sanitized
Work alongside a supportive kitchen team and pitch in where needed
What We’re Looking For
Dependable and ready to learn
Comfortable following recipes and instructions
Able to stay organized and work steadily during busy periods
Friendly, respectful and willing to work as part of a team
Committed to food quality, cleanliness and safety
Previous food-preparation or kitchen experience is helpful, but not required
Schedule
This is a full-time, year-round position. Applicants must be available to work at least one weekend day—Saturday or Sunday—each week. Availability on both days is especially helpful. Because holidays and summertime are among our busiest periods, dependable attendance during those times is important.
Physical Requirements
This position requires standing and walking for extended periods, bending and reaching, and regularly lifting or carrying items weighing up to 40 pounds.
