Hiring: Our client, a logistics company based in Roodepoort, is seeking a Key Account Manager to join their growing team (AIRFREIGHT LOGISTICS).
Duties & Responsibilities
Sourcing:
Find and onboard new customers.
Conduct telesales and virtual meetings.
Opportunity Identification:
Identify additional services to offer to existing clients.
Create cost-effective solutions for all customers.
Expand services with each client and secure new business inquiries.
Secure Business
Onboarding:
Send necessary documentation to new clients.
Follow up to complete the onboarding process.
Provide quotes and negotiate the highest possible prices.
Follow up on quotes and extend or increase rates as needed.
Administration:
Open customer files and send SOPs.
Maintain an organized database and keep rates updated.
Update enquiry sheets and client frequency lists.
Remind the sales team of follow-up actions and manage appointments.
Serve as a liaison between external sales, procurement, and customers.
Manage customer KPIs.
Relationship Management:
Maintain and build strong relationships with customers.
Foster trust in the LSS brand.
Desired Experience &
Qualification:
Minimum 2-3 years sales experience in a logistics/freight environment.
2 years experience in a similar role.
Matric.
SALARY:
R25 000 – depending on experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
