Our client is seeking a mature, young, responsible and customer-orientated candidate to join their team as a Junior Workshop and Service Technician, based in Durban.
Successful candidate will need to be able to manage many issues at once and respond effectively to customer needs both during normal work hours but also outside of normal hours when required.
Minimum Requirements:
–
Matric / N6 Certificate; and preferably Trade Tested Millwright or Fitter and Turner
3-5 Years’ experience working in a service workshop
Mechanical and electrical experience working on pumps and electrical motors (preferably vacuum pumps)
Extensive customer liaison skills
Must be a team player and people’s person
Must be able to multi-task and enjoy a high-performance environment
Computer literate (MS Office, Outlook, Pastel, Lean Kit, Geopal)
