Role Description The Junior Sales Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for supporting the growth of QUBE Events’ conferences and services. This position involves identifying and qualifying prospective clients, conducting outreach via email, phone, and online channels, and presenting event participation options that match client needs. The Junior Sales Manager will maintain accurate records in the CRM system, assist in preparing proposals and sales materials, and coordinate with the events and marketing teams to ensure a smooth sales-to-delivery process. The role also includes monitoring market trends, gathering feedback from clients, and contributing to sales reports and performance updates. Regular virtual meetings and collaboration with the broader team are expected.

Qualifications

  • Experience in conference sales
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including confident phone and video call etiquette and clear written communication.
  • Basic sales and negotiation abilities, with an understanding of lead generation, prospecting, and relationship-building.
  • Comfort with digital tools and CRM systems, as well as proficiency in common office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation tools).
  • Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple prospects and tasks in a remote, part-time environment.
  • Interest in or exposure to events, conferences, or the financial technology (Payments/RegTech) sector is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, meet agreed targets, and collaborate effectively in a distributed team.
  • Relevant education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
