Amdec Property Developments, the development arm of the Amdec Group, is currently looking to recruit a Junior Project Manager.
The Junior Project Manager will work in collaboration with the broader Amdec Property Development team as well as contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The role entails (but is not limited to) the following duties:
Ensure that the Amdec Group health and safety standards are adhered to at all times.
Collaborate with the development manager for Sitari Country Estate to ensure that projects within Sitari Country Estate are executed up to standard and in accordance with the approved budget.
Oversee the quality of work performed by contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors in order to ensure that Amdec Group standards are adhered to at all times.
Proactively report on project progress and/or project stumbling blocks.
Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
Perform various administrative duties in adherence to Amdec Group standards.
Requirements:
To be considered for this opportunity, you must possess the following:
A degree in Construction/Civil Engineering or a related field.
2-3 years of project management or construction management experience.
Health and Safety (clear understanding of the OHS Act and the requirements to be implemented on projects).
Must reside within a 20-minute commute of Sitari Country Estate (Somerset West).
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
