Full Job Description
Junior Photographer & Studio Administrator
The position offers a salary of between R84,000 – R120,000, depending on experience and suitability.
Preference will be given to candidates who currently live in Fourways, Lonehill, Diepsloot, Riverside, or Riversands or are willing to move immediately at their own cost to within a 5km radius of our studio in Riversands, Fourways.
Requirements:
1. Must have a completed Diploma or Degree in Photography as a major subject.
2. Must be fully computer literate and willing to be tested on Photoshop, AfterShoot, Evoto, Imagen AI, etc. Proven experience is required.
3. Must have a minimum of 18 months’ full-time experience as a studio photographer. Freelance work does not count, unless most of your work was done as a full-time studio photographer. Candidates with only freelance experience will not be considered.
4. Must provide a portfolio of at least 200 images in the following categories: studio, events, weddings, fashion, and other photography. This portfolio must be accessible via a working Google Drive link.
5. The position requires extensive administrative tasks, including file organization, footage dumping, backup management, culling, picture selection, digitising, and editing. You must show immaculate administrative skills.
