Our client in the Solar Engineering Industry is looking for a hardworking and dedicated Junior Microgrid Controls Engineer to join their team in their office in Roodepoort, Johannesburg.
Requirements Include:
Strong IP network.
Experience in wiring and reticulating complex control wiring.
Experience in configuring complex control systems.
Good understanding of modern technology.
Modbus.
Canbus.
Good understanding of:
Generators, Battery Energy Storage Solutions, and PV (Micro Grids).
Electrical Distribution MV and LV.
Electrical Metering.
Come from a power plant control background / of PLC automation background.
Need to be technologically advanced.
Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Additional Certificates in Solar on top of your Engineering degree will be beneficial.
Location:
Roodepoort mainly and sometimes in Rosebank office, Johannesburg.
Salary range: R40 000 – R80 000 CTC (depending on experience).
Starting date: As soon as possible.
