Junior Interior Designer Jobs in Cape Town at Alinea Architects
We are seeking a talented and driven Junior Interior Designer to join our Cape Town-based team.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (required)
1–3 years of professional experience in an interior design or architecture studio
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (essential)
Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
Must be based in Cape Town and able to start immediately
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing interior design concepts and presentation documents
Produce technical drawings and detailed joinery in Revit
Prepare and maintain procurement schedules and FF&E documentation
Liaise with local and international suppliers for samples, quotes, and lead times
Support senior designers in coordinating with consultants, contractors, and clients
Conduct site visits and assist with project installations
Manage project admin and documentation from concept through completion
Preferred Experience & Skills:
Previous experience on luxury residential and/or hospitality projects
Understanding of interior finishes, lighting, and custom furniture design
Strong administrative and organizational capabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A strong sense of design detailing and material specification
