We are looking for a junior imports/exports controller (sea/air).
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and monitor all aspects of the import process, including customs clearance, shipping, and transportation.
Liaise with international suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation for customs clearance and compliance with import regulations.
Track and report on the status of shipments, identifying and resolving any delays or issues.
Work closely with internal teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to ensure smoothcommunicationand coordination of import activities.
Manage relationships with suppliers and service providers to negotiate rates and terms for import services.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all import activities.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in import/export logistics, preferably in the freight forwarding industry.
Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in afast-paced environment.
