As their business continues to expand, they are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Finance Manager to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You'll gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of financial transactions, funding structures, and reporting requirements while working alongside experienced finance professionals.

Key Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include: Managing the day-to-day accounting function and maintaining accurate financial records. Processing journals, invoices, and financial transactions. Assisting with monthly management accounts and month-end reporting. Performing bank, balance sheet, creditor, and debtor reconciliations. Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Supporting the administration and accounting of asset finance transactions. Maintaining fixed asset registers and processing depreciation. Preparing cash flow reports, financial forecasts, board reports, and audit schedules. Assisting with VAT, statutory submissions, and audit requirements. Monitoring financial controls and identifying opportunities to improve finance processes. Maintaining accurate financial information within accounting and ERP systems. Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, auditors, and funding partners. Job Experience & Skills Required: Education: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in an accounting or finance role. Experience within financial services, commercial lending, or asset finance will be highly advantageous. Previous exposure to ERP systems and accounting software. Skills: Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Strong reconciliation and analytical abilities. Working knowledge of IFRS. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience working with online banking platforms and accounting systems. Knowledge of VAT and other South African statutory requirements.
