POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description Our client is looking for a Junior Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for an ambitious finance professional who enjoys working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment while building strong technical accounting skills. The successful candidate will gain exposure to management reporting, accounting controls, financial statement preparation, audits, tax compliance and month-end processes. Key Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts Perform general ledger reconciliations and journal processing Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Assist with month-end and year-end reporting requirements Support annual financial statement preparation Assist with audit and tax compliance processes Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation Contribute to reporting and variance analysis Job Experience and Skills Required Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Completed articles advantageous Experience: Minimum 1 year accounting experience Exposure to financial reporting and reconciliations Experience with annual financial statements advantageous Payroll exposure beneficial Skills: Xero CaseWare Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word Strong analytical skills Excellent attention to detail Apply now!
