Job Overview:
The Junior Field Operator will be responsible for leading, supporting, and managing multiple Barcelos outlets within the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in franchise/store operations, business development, and team leadership, ensuring sustainable growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence & Compliance
Implement and oversee Barcelos’ Operations Management Framework to ensure consistent store performance.
Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are maintained and strictly followed.
Conduct regular inspections to uphold high food quality, safety, and hygiene standards.
Troubleshoot operational challenges across multiple stores and implement corrective actions.
Financial & Business Growth
Set and drive targets for sales, GP%, food cost, and operational expenses to maximize net profitability.
Monitor financial performance and assist franchise partners in optimizing store profitability.
Identify and implement strategies to grow sales, customer base, and brand reach.
Ensure stores meet budget requirements and financial KPIs.
People Management & Training
Lead, coach, and develop store teams to achieve operational goals.
Provide training and performance feedback to improve productivity and customer service.
Ensure proper workforce planning and support for store teams.
Maintain a strong team culture aligned with Barcelos’ brand values.
Customer Service & Brand Standards
Monitor and ensure exceptional customer service across all outlets.
Address and resolve customer complaints effectively.
Implement initiatives to enhance customer experience and brand loyalty.
Inventory & Supply Chain Management
Oversee stock levels and assist stores in managing inventory to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Ensure smooth supply chain operations to support store demands.
Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in, Business Administration or Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Senior Manager or Field Operator in the food & beverage, franchise, or retail sector.
Strong POS system experience and proficiency in MS Office (advanced skills preferred).
Proven ability to manage multi-store operations, drive profitability, and improve compliance.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
