A reputable Engineering Consulting firm is looking for a Junior Draughtsman to join their team in Cape Town!
Key requirements:
Relevant Diploma/Degree in Draughting
Minimum of 1-year experience (Draughting/Workshop)
Autodesk AutoCAD 3D modelling
Autodesk Advance Steel or Autodesk Plant or Revit advantageous
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Comfortable to functioning under project time constraints
Key responsibilities:
3D Modelling of OEM Equipment, from 2D drawings
Cleaning up auto-generated shop detailed drawing dimensions and tag numbers
Create manufacturing drawings in accordance with company standards
Ensure all manufacturing drawings meet drawing office standards
Create and update cutting lists in accordance with Drawing Office standards
Ensure production schedules are kept up to date with the current status
Ensure that the work environment conforms to safety requirements
Drawing up samples
Producing customer-specific drawings
