Job Information:
The purpose and function of this position is to ensure that levies are paid timeously. In the instances where this is not the case, the employee will be required to apply both their mind and the arrears collection policy of each building to ensure that outstanding monies owed are collected.
Minimum level of education:
Matric (Grade 12)
Requirements & responsibilites:
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (strong in word and excel)
Pastel Version 18 or WeConnectU experience advantageous
Pervious experience in similar position advantageour s
Own transport required
Fluent in English
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Excellent time management
Good communication shills
Problem solving abilities
Applicant must be able to work after hours, when required
Proven accounting experience
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
Accuracy and attention to detail
Aptitude for numbers
Well organized
Monthly arrears updates between.
Liaison with the relevant attorneys regarding legal updates.
Preparing a report regarding each defaulter and where they are in the process monthly for submission to the client.
Negotiation of (AOD’s) Acknowledgement of Debt in writing between defaulters and Body Corporates/Owners Associations
To monitor those owners with arrangements, pay as per the Acknowledgment of Debt (AOD) or arrangement.
If the payment arrangement or AOD is breached to proceed to the next step in the legal process.
Preparation and submission of CSOS arrears applications.
Attendance of arrears CSOS cases.
Compiling and dispatching final demand notices
Contacting of clients in arrears as per each buildings arrear’s policy, telephonically, via sms and/or email.
Submission of Arrears reports to Trustees when required.
Attending to queries submitted by the Trustees regarding arrears.
Salary dependent on experience
