A well-established international chemical raw material company is seeking a dedicated professional to maintain strong relationships with existing key accounts within the Pharmaceutical manufacturing and related Nutraceutical industries on a national basis.
Position Details:
Minimum requirements for the role:
A tertiary qualification is preferred but not essential.
Previous experience in a sales role supplying chemical raw materials to the pharmaceutical manufacturing or nutraceutical industry is essential.
The company is open to candidates who are internal salespersons or junior pharmacists looking to transition into an external sales role.
Responsibilities of the successful candidate:
Maintain strong relationships with existing key accounts within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry on a national basis.
Promote chemical raw materials in the pharmaceutical manufacturing markets and identify potential business opportunities nationally.
Participate in regular feedback sessions on various projects and manage customer expectations.
Handle price negotiations and product management, relay market information to management and suppliers to stay competitive in South Africa’s current economic climate.
Set and pursue budget targets and sales objectives.
Identify new potential customers and ensure volume growth per product.
Present sales reports to senior management.
Implement customer retention strategies to develop sustainable, high-quality relationships with external customers.
Manage stock forecasting to ensure product availability for customers.
The salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable based on experience.
