About the Role – We are looking for a Junior Business Analyst. As a member of the Business Analysis Team, the Junior Agile Business Analyst plays an integral part of product design and implementation, by actively ensuring collaborative requirements gathering, validation, implementation, and evaluation. The Junior Agile Business Analyst fulfils this integral part by being a seamless communication liaison between business and development. And by being a team player who places emphasis on agile delivery. The person fulfilling this role must have the following attributes:
Elicitation, validation, and documentation of requirements by meeting with clients and users of the system.
Evaluate requirements through testing and feedback gathering from the agile development team and users.
Perform an active role in the organising, grouping, and conversion of requirements into simplified user stories and acceptance criteria.
Perform an active role in test case preparation and matching to documented user stories and acceptance criteria.
Maintain a single source of truth for project requirement documentation.
Assist in maintaining the health status of clients and projects through proactive problem solving of needs, risks decisions and actions.
Qualifications – Bachelor’s diploma/degree in a Business, Systems or Software related field, and/or related Business Analysis.
Business Analysis and Agile advantageous but not pre-requisite.
South African Citizen or valid South African work permit.
Experience – 1-2 years’ work experience in Business Analysis.
Theoretical and practical knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas: Agile Business Analysis, Agile Project Delivery, Agile Software Development Life Cycle.
Facilitation, Communication, Writing and Presentation skills. Agile Analysis Tools, Techniques, Methodology utilisation.
Technologies: Freshdesk, JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Office 365.
