Job Description:
The Junior Accountant will assist in the day-to-day accounting operations, including maintaining
financial records, preparing reports, and reconciling bank statements. This role is ideal for
someone with a strong
attention to detail
and a desire to grow within the finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
Record and maintain accurate financial transactions
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
Process accounts payable and receivable
Assist with payroll processing
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Maintain and update accounting records and files
Assist with audits and tax preparations
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
Requirements:
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
0–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, Quick Books, or Xero)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
