“`Duties:“`
– Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes
– Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout of electrical wiring and equipment
– Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning
– Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements
– Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors on construction projects
– Provide guidance and training to apprentices
“`Requirements:“`
– Valid journeyman/journeywoman electrician license
– Proven experience as a journeyperson electrician
– Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
– Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety procedures
– Experience with a variety of electrical systems and equipment, including low voltage, high voltage, industrial, and residential
– Ability to use power tools and other equipment necessary for electrical work
– Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues
– Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
– Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
