SUMMARY:
Looking for a Jnr. Draughtsman in Boksburg Gauteng. Must have knowledge in drawing practices and project management.

Reporting to: Operations
Type: Contractor
Job Summary:
Utilise computer aided draughting methods to translate design information and specifications into schematics, technical drawings, and production plans.
Competencies:
- Technical competency
- Project management
- 3-5 years technical and draughting experience
- Knowledge of material specifications
- Computer skills (including Creo modelling, Windchill administration & MS Office)
- Manufacturing/heavy engineering experience, strong assemblies, BOMs, and ideally Creo (strong preference).
- Decision making
- Attention to detail
- Goal oriented
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Create technical drawings, manufacturing schematics and 3D digital models of mechanical component designs
- Coordinate with engineers to understand project requirements
- Assist in ongoing projects to standardise design document standards
Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in draughting
- 1-3 Years experience in a similar position
- Proficient with Creo modelling
- Manufacturing/heavy engineering experience preferred
