Description:
Our client, an IT services and solutions provider situated in Paarl, has the above vacancy available. The ideal candidate has excellent
communication skills
in English (written and verbal) and has the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
Installation of new computer systems and solutions
Training of customers on installed computer systems and software programs
Support, troubleshoot and resolution of call outs relating to installed software programs and hardware on customers’ site
Finding solutions and adapting software for best use within customer environment
All other tasks related to the position.
Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
Grade 12 and a tertiary IT qualification (N+ and A+);
Approximately 2 years’ experience in IT as a Field Technician;
Windows networking experience;
Excellent problem-solving skills;
Valid driver’s license.
Experience with the following is highly preferable:
Windows 10/11
Microsoft 365
Network Administration and cabling
CCTV
Ubiquiti
Mikro Tik
