IT Support Specialist (Senior & Junior Positions Available)
We are currently hiring both Senior and Junior IT Support Specialists to join our team. These roles are ideal for proactive individuals with a passion for IT support, problem-solving, and continuous learning. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our IT infrastructure and assisting users.
Key Responsibilities (Senior & Junior Levels):
Junior IT Support Specialist:
Provide frontline technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Assist with setting up and configuring workstations and printers.
Support users with day-to-day IT queries and escalate more complex issues when necessary.
Participate in system upgrades, maintenance, and basic IT projects under guidance.
Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to knowledge base articles.
Senior IT Support Specialist:
Provide advanced technical support to resolve complex IT issues for both hardware and software.
Manage escalated tickets from junior staff and ensure timely, effective resolution.
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, performance issues, and configuration problems.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to their ongoing development.
Work with other IT teams to set up and maintain the company’s IT systems and networks.
Requirements for all applicants:
Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows and/or Linux).
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data protection.
Good at communicating clearly and solving technical issues.
Junior Role Requirements:
Foundational knowledge of IT troubleshooting (hardware/software/network).
Having your own car and a valid driver’s license is a plus.
Senior Role Requirements:
Proven expertise in system administration and advanced troubleshooting.
You should have worked in IT support for 2 years.
Skilled at finding and fixing problems with hardware, software, and networks.
Own car and valid code 8 driver’s license.

Salary ranges from Salary: R 5000- R15 000 based on experience.
