Full Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
– Install, configure and maintain computer hardware, software and peripherals On Board Cruise Ship
– Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software and network systems
– Monitor and maintain the company’s network and server infrastructure
– Perform regular backups and ensure data security and integrity
– Manage user accounts and access permissions
– Provide technical support to employees and assist with training on new systems and software
– Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions to improve efficiency and productivity
– Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
– Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems
– Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Windows operating systems, and Active Directory
– Experience with network security and data backup solutions
– Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and in a team environment
– Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
– Previous experience in the maritime industry is a plus
