We are looking for a dedicated IT Service Desk Engineer to join our client’s growing team. This role is perfect for an experienced IT professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving technical challenges, and delivers exceptional customer service. As part of a Managed Service Provider (MSP), you will act as an outsourced IT department for multiple clients, handling a variety of technical issues
Key Responsibilities:
Provide professional IT support to customers via the managed service desk
Diagnose and resolve a wide range of IT issues for clients
Ensure first-time fixes whenever possible and escalate when necessary
Maintain response and resolution times within SLA agreements
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through clear communication and problem-solving
Key Objectives:
Deliver consistent positive customer feedback.
Maintain high first-time fix rates.
Proactively identify solutions to improve IT support services.
Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in an IT support/service desk role within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Admin
Solid understanding of Microsoft Office products
A relevant IT-related degree is beneficial but not essential.
Microsoft certifications or similar qualifications would be an advantage
This is a remote role open to candidates living anywhere in South Africa
