This is a brilliant opportunity for an IT Problem Manager to manage the full IT
problem resolution
life cycle for South Africa’s leading investment management platform.
This is a 12-month independent contract paying up to R480 per hour.
It is a hybrid working contract, based in Johannesburg or Cape Town (the company has offices in both cities). THE ROLEAs IT Problem Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of IT
problem resolution
, ensuring minimal business impact by analysing and re-designing the platform’s problem management process. You will coordinate technical teams, analyse root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. This role involves monitoring incident trends, optimizing response processes, and ensuring adherence to ITIL best practices.
You will also maintain clear
communication
with stakeholders, provide status updates, and drive
continuous improvement
in incident management. Additionally, you will collaborate with problem management teams to address recurring issues and enhance overall system stability. REQUIREMENTS5+ years’ experience in IT problem management/incident management
ITIL V4 certified
Investment management or wealth management industry experience
COBIT knowledge will be beneficial
