Silver-Moon IT is hiring a Systems Administrator to support our hospitality partners in Johannesburg. You’ll handle on-site and remote IT tasks to ensure smooth operations of hotel systems like PMS, POS, CCTV, IPTV, and AV tech, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Maintain and troubleshoot hotel IT systems (PMS, POS, CCTV, IPTV, AV).
Provide on-site/remote support to hotel staff and guests.
Manage servers, workstations, networks (LAN/WiFi/VLAN), and IT assets.
Ensure system security and compliance (POPIA, PCI DSS, GDPR).
Lead upgrades, migrations, and IT projects.
Document IT processes, support tickets, SOPs, and training guides.
Participate in after-hours support rotations.
Collaborate with vendors and internal tech teams.
🎓 Requirements
3–5 years IT experience, with hospitality IT preferred.
Strong knowledge of hospitality tech systems.
4+ years in Windows OS (2016–2022), Office 365.
Network experience (LAN/WiFi/VLAN); Aruba/Rukus a plus.
A+, N+, MCP required. MCSE/CompTIA/ITIL a bonus.
Valid driver’s license + own transport.
No criminal record. Professional attire required.
