We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, optimising, and maintaining our IT infrastructure across all branches. This includes hardware, software, network systems, and integrated solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in IT support, a knack for problem-solving, and a desire to continuously improve our technological capabilities.
Position will be based in Silverton, Pretoria area.
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
1-2 years experience within the same or similar position.
Experience in:
Network administration and troubleshooting.
Business software applications.
Website building and maintenance.
Basic coding skills in Python or Java script would be an advantage.
IOT hardware and software experience would be beneficial.
Duties are, but not limited to:
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals, ensuring optimal performance.
Manage network infrastructure across all branches, ensuring reliable and secure connectivity.
Oversee and optimise our software systems, in order to allow smooth business operations.
Manage and update the company’s websites as needed.
Administer the remote VPS running Windows with time and attendance software.
Provide technical support and training to staff, resolving IT-related issues promptly.
Ensure all systems are secure, implementing best practices for cybersecurity.
Maintain accurate records of IT assets, configurations, and procedures.
Stay updated with the latest IT trends and technologies, recommending and implementing improvements.
