Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Irrigation Landscape Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing irrigation systems across various landscaping projects. Your expertise will help ensure lush, healthy landscapes by managing irrigation equipment and systems efficiently while delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Install new irrigation systems on landscape projects, ensuring proper setup and functionality
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of irrigation equipment and systems to ensure optimal operation
- Troubleshoot system issues using electrical diagnostics, system troubleshooting techniques, and mechanical knowledge
- Repair irrigation system components including valves, controllers, pipes, and sprinkler heads
- Conduct soil science assessments to optimize irrigation schedules and improve landscape health
- Operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and excavation equipment safely during installation and repair projects
- Collaborate with landscaping teams on integrated landscape maintenance and lawn care efforts to support overall site health
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to irrigation equipment and system components
- Experience with new irrigation system installation projects from start to finish
- Knowledge of automated irrigation control systems and system troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with electrical diagnostics relevant to irrigation systems
- Hands-on experience with excavation work using excavators or other construction equipment
- Understanding of soil science principles as they relate to irrigation needs and landscape health
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to manage irrigation systems efficiently while adhering to safety standards using hand tools and power tools
- Background in landscaping, horticulture, or related fields is highly desirable

Pay: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour
