Introduction:Thepurposeof this position is to ensure that the company’s stock levels meet business needs. You will be responsible for tracking all stock movements, updating internal inventory systems, keeping abreast of stock levels, and daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
Duties & Responsibilities
Compile reports for stock adjustments and submit for processing.
Monitor and maintain stock levels and escalate matters of concern.
Ensure monthly scrapping and installation movements have been accounted for.
Reconcile system movement on theInventory ManagementSystem to physical movement of stock.
Balance all warehouses/depos.
Submit monthly reports for all depos.
Save all movements on the shared drive for easy access.
All reports, stock takes, and relevant information must be saved; relevant paperwork must be filed systematically.
Investigate all variances identified and escalate.
Submit monthly reports such as scrapping, installations, inter-branch movements, etc.
All ATM movements must be updated and submitted in a monthly report timeously.
All new TERMID processed on CRM must be replicated onto theInventory ManagementSystem.
Once ATM is built and allocated, ensure the system is updated accordingly.
All changes made on CRM must be monitored, and the Stores Team must be alerted.
Work on implementing automation within the warehouse environment, in keeping with our phased approach from manual to long-term system-based.
Perform routine admin duties, including data entry, assisting internal teams, and spot checks on stock takes.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Completed Matric qualification.
Completed
B.Com or stock controlling related qualification.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Inventory Controller position is non-negotiable.
Must have previous stock reconciliation and balancing experience.
Knowledge of parts and OHS would be beneficial.
Report writing andproblem-solving skills.
MS Office, Excel, and working knowledge of WMS, especially on Business Central, will be an advantage.
Knowledge of an operatingstock managementsystem.
