An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned International Tax Manager to join a high-performing team. This role plays a pivotal part in overseeing the international tax landscape of a global business, steering compliance, strategy, and optimisation across multiple jurisdictions.
The successful candidate will take charge of global tax planning, transfer pricing, M&A tax support, and risk management — all while navigating complex international tax legislation. Working alongside senior leadership and cross-functional teams, this role is ideal for someone who thrives on challenge, strategic thinking, and influencing outcomes on a global scale.
Key requirements:
Minimum BComm (Hons);
Chartered Accountant or postgraduate qualification in taxation advantageous
At least 10 years of international tax experience, ideally within both Big 4 and multinational environments
In-depth knowledge of African tax regimes and international tax frameworks
Proven expertise in transfer pricing, CFC legislation, and cross-border tax structuring
Demonstrated ability to lead tax input in M&A and restructuring initiatives
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage and mentor teams
Adept at tax reporting, risk management, and compliance across jurisdictions
Exceptional project management and report-writing skills
